Requirement for Students
Starting April 2026, Students will be using their CUNY Login accounts to access their email inboxes.
NOTE: Students who registered for classes before April 13th, 2026 may have both an @login.cuny.edu email inbox and an @stu.bmcc.cuny.edu email inbox.

The following examples will show how user "John Doe" with EMPLID xxxxxx45 would sign into their emails.
1. Go to Outlook.com and click on "Sign In".

Students
1. Sign in using your CUNY Login account.

2. You will be redirected to the CUNY Login page. Sign-in using your CUNY Credentials and click on login. If you forgot your CUNY password or you need to reset your password, click on the Forgot Password link under "CUNY Login Account Management"

3. After verifying your sign in, you will be able to access your email inbox.
Faculty/Staff
NOTE: Staff/Faculty will have to sign into Outlook using their CUNY Login accounts starting June 2026. in which case, they would follow the same instructions as Students.
To claim your employee BMCC email or if you need further assistance accessing your staff email please visit or call the Service Desk.
1. To reset your password, select the "Faculty/Staff: Account & Password Help" option on the SSO page.

2. Fill out all of the required fields, then click “Next”.

3. Choose the option that best applies to your request.

4. Click on Next
